Trek Madone 5.5 - opinions

Well thanks for all the advice - I think this question has generated my
longest thread ever! Good to see people passionate about their bikes.

Well the final decision....

I spoke with Steve Dolan and he has sorted me out with a new carbon
bike running full dura ace and ksyriums SSLs for similar money to the
trek. Looks like it is going to be a cracker. I couldn't use my old
frame as I had a buyer for the bike and hence the reason for the
upgrade.

Just got to wait a week for the build now. I'll let you know what it's
like when it arrives.

2128 and counting. Now that's a thread. Not a great one admittedly,
but big....
