  1. Riding a 2006 Trek 1400. Bought this bike September 2006, Great bike although I think some parts on it should be upgraded. Now I really like the pinarello Galileo? My question is if you were me would you buy the Pinarello and why? The reason I ask this question is, I don’t really know if I will be getting a better bike they both are shimano 105 equipped. I really like the Galileo style but I don’t have money to chuck around either. Help me make my mind up. 😕 🙄

    Tough question.

With nowdays materials used to manufactur bikes, I would tend to favor a brand that allows for quick replacement in case of a frame failure. Especially if you're a heavy rider.

I own a Pinarello (Angliru), my previous bike was a Pinarello (Veneto). But for my next bike, I'll probably buy local (province of Quebec, Canada). I've heard too many horror stories from people having to wait for months before finally receiving their frame.

  3. If you are buying a bike for style, then yes, throw your money wherever you want.

Style is subjective, and just you can't ask others to answer a "vs" question. 😄
