    Im thinking about selling my Giant OCR3 and get a Specialized Transition Elite. Retail is about $1500 but luckily Ill get a decent discount working at a bike shop. Anyone else have a Transition Elite?

    I guess instead of spending a couple hundred on a forward seatpost, bullhorns, and better aerobars, I might as well sell my Giant and get a real Tri bike.

    I had a post asking how much do you think I could sell my '04 OCR3. Comes with the standard OCR3 parts, I didnt do anything to it. I am also including Profile Design Airstryke aerobars (114.99) and SPD Pedals (49.99) I got it in July 04, has about 465 miles on it, minor minor cratch on top tube from leaning it on a wall (I know, stupid me) other than that, perfect, no problems at all! Great condition, like new. Considering I work at a bike shop, I keep it in top condition.
    -A couple people said about $300-$350... one said if they had cash they would pay $500.
    What do you guys think???

    Im in the process of selling my bike too. I have a OCR 3 (2003) and want to upgrade to something in the $3000-$3500 price bracket but i did look at the specialized transition elite...its a good a bike considering the price. However with Giants you can tend to get alot more for your money but then again they have been found hard to fit to certain people especially women. Do you neccessarily want a tri bike? Because when your doing alot of road riding for trr training purposes you can be better off. This i what I found but cycling is my major dicispline. Also need to consider what distances your racing to wether you need a specific tri bike.
