Im looking for a somewhat strongly made tricycle to mount a jet engine on.

It will have to be modified by widening and lengthening the wheel base, anyone know of a source for a tricyle in Australia? shoud have quite strong wheels, size/strength like an adults mountain bike.

thanks!

I wish to make a jet engine, dont "need" to ... who doesnt want to launch themselves down the road on a jet powered trike?

A 'cycle is the obvious choice as it is light with thin tyres, since the wheels wont be powered there is no need for them to be thick, thin wheels = less surface friction = more speed.

You might be able to look into getting an old recumbent 'trike and putting in extra reinforcement ?
