  1. Hi,

I know Sheldon has some information on this, but not for the Road Cranks. (thanks sheldon for
compiling and standardizing the terminology !!)

I recently bought some of the truvativ Triple Road cranks (on sale from Nashbar of course). I took
off the small ring and used a 108 bb but even so I noticed the Tread (q-fact) was quite large.

I really like the cranks though and now am thinking of getting either the Road cranks or Cyclecross
cranks. I won't though unless I know the Tread, given that the triple's tread is so large.

Does anyone know the Tread(q-factor) on these cranks? Or at least know if they are similar to the
q-factor of a typical shimano crank? Do the crank arms run fairly close to the chainstays? I hate
    riding bow-legged !

    Thanks, John

ps I emailed truvativ but no response.. really though I shouldn't expect they are probably
    really busy
