Tubeless wheels/tires with tubes

Last night I picked up a 2010 Scott CX Team for $300 on good old Craigslist (best deal ever? ). The only issue with an otherwise very nice and clean bike is that it's rolling (more like not rolling) on some stupid Stan's No Tubes rims and tires. I don't want to deal with the hassle of tubeless tires, so I want to just throw some tubes in there. I assume this is ok because that's how the tubeless crowd deals with flats anyway. My question is what psi should I be running? The sidewall says 25-45psi but that seems insanely low because I run my 8.4ds which also has 700x35 tires at 75psi and that thing starts feeling mushy at 50-60psi. Also, I'm likely going to clean this thing up a little, fix the tubeless issue, and sell it. Anyone see an issue with me getting $600 for it? Bike blue book says $800+.
