Quick Question....is it normal for bike manufacturers to put tubes in UST tire sets? I have a fairly
new bike that I have never had the tires off of before. I wasn't pleased with the stock tires so I
bought a new set of UST'S. Well....today while replacing them I took the stock UST tires off and
they had tubes in them! Is this normal practice? My set-up is a 2002 Giant ACDS 2 with Michelin UST
DH comps with Rigida UST rims. I thought maybe at first one of the two components weren't UST but I
checked and the tires have the bead as well as a place for the bead on the rim. Does anyone know
where I may purchase a valve stem for these rims so I can use the tires like they were designed? I
just put the new tires on with tubes for now. Thanks..Mike
