I’ve been having an issue with my valves leaking air slowly from my tubeless Bontrager X-lite MTB wheels. This hasn’t been a huge issue until yesterday at a race where I barely made it across the finish line with air in my front tire. Seemed like a rock may have hit the valve stem; but even prior to that I had a slow leak from the valve in my rear wheel. Is this a common problem with tubeless wheels in general? Is there something besides the O-ring I should use to seal it?
Also, what are my options in a race situation if I did flat on tubeless wheels?
