    Hi everybody,
I am planning to buy some sort of equipment to get me through the cold winter.

Could you pinpoint the adavantages of rollers of a turbo trainer?

I realize that I can change the resistance on the t.t., is there any way of doing that on a roller?

    Thanks!

You can buy a roller with a wind resistance unit as an option. I'm not usre though if you can adjust the resistance on it but I'm guessing you cannot. I have a turbo trainer (resistance trainer, Cyclops) and it helped me a lot specially if I don't have enough time to ride outside (in the evening). There are a lot of units out there but I suggest you get a Cyclops becuase I have gone through 2 of them (third this time) and their warranty is excellent. No questions asked, they just replaced the unit and I just send them the bad one.
