  1. Just divised this recipe for left over turkey carcase and meat. Making it for supper tonight.

    My Turkey Soup

    Recipe By : Helen Peagram Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soups, WW

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    4 c fat-free chicken broth 2 md onion(s) 1 md stalk celery 1 clove garlic clove(s)
    1/2 cup uncooked barley 14 1/2 oz cooked dark meat turkey, chopped or diced 1 t olive oil
    2/2 c all-purpose flour 3 c Green Giant Mixed Vegetables Frozen 4 lg mushroom(s)

    Saute onion, celery mushroom and garlic in oil. Add 3 1/2 cups stock and mixed veggies.

    Cook till veggies are done and add turkey.

    Mix flour with 1/2 cup stock and add to soup. Stir to blend well and simmer till cooked.

    Points per serving: 6

  3. Turned out great! I ended up adding 1 1/2 cup more water and some salt and pepper and served it
    as a stew!
