Type of oil/lube

Everybody is usually very opinionated on which is the best chain lube and will have quite lengthy rationales behind their logic. These threads usually sound like a he said/she said argument.

Now for my opinion and lengthy rationale ... I use 3in1 oil. It's simply a light machine oil or sewing machine oil. It's cheap, can be found anywhere and works as well as anything else I've used. The down side is it is a little messy. Spray a little Simple Green on a rag and wipe off the chain a couple times a week and it's fine.

Hey, thanks for the links. I was just wondering what people use to get some suggestions so I could try some of them out that I havent used. I have also been looking around and people seem to oil about every 2 weeks, woops! I do it about once a month but I should probablly be doing it more often then.
