Hi,

I am using Trek 3900 disc with Bontrager tyres. I found 26*2.00 noted on the tyre.
Could you guys guide me how I should measure proper pressure for the tyre? What kind of pressure should I keep?
I ride always where weather is almost 32 deg celcius with seasonal rain.

Isnt that 26 the size of the tire? With MTBs I think you could use the recommended tire pressure with no problem... Usually road bikers, when in bad weather conditions, rides with lower PSI to have a better grip to the road and prevent slippery... Also, riding with low PSI will have a higher risk of getting a flat than when with the recommended

Depends on if you are riding on or off road. The recommended pressure is on the sidewall of the tire. For instance 40 to 60 PSI. I would always inflate to the max pressure for on road use and the min pressure for off road. If the trails are a little rough and full of large stones and other obstacles I would inflate even lower than the min.
