The majority of riders in my very large three Southern California bike clubs, ride Michelin Pro2 Race & Continental's new GP 4000. The GP 4000 has a few very tiny holes in the tread. When you can't see them anymore, the tire is worn out. Saves you money because you don't replace them before needed and don't ride them when it's not safe.

  4. For training on road - Specialiased Armadillo/ Conti Gatorskin (both rather heavy but hey, it's training.)
