My existing 6600 shifters are shot. Can I use the new 6700 on my existing full 10-speed Ultegra set-up? It is internally cable routed vs the old external.

There may be some incompatibilities with the front derailleur and/or brake calipers (supposedly the DA 7900 calipers have a different pull than the DA 7800 calipers ... and, the Ultegra 6700 may share the same peculiarity ALTHOUGH my recollection is that testers did not think it was a significant difference in how the brakes worked -- this may be a to-each-his-own situation & you will have to decide if you notice a significant difference in the brake lever/caliper relationship) ...

I think that at the most, you will need to change the front derailleur to a 6700 model.

ASK your LBS ...

Or, consider switching to Campagnolo shifters!
