USA Cycling gives $1 million back to Local Associations

With more than $320,000 expected to be paid to Local Associations based on 2006 license sales, the total funds distributed by USA Cycling since the inception of its Local Association Rebate Program has exceeded $1 million, the national governing body announced today. USA Cycling began the Local Association Rebate Program in 2003 in order to invest in, grow and support grassroots racing at the local level. Under the programandrsquo;s guidelines, USA Cycling remits $10.00 back to each Local Association for each road- and track-specific annual license it sells.
