Just got myself a brand new pair of Nalini cycling mitts to replace my existing pair and the first obvious thing I've noticed is how much more supple and soft the new ones are in comparison to the old ones, which I've had for several years.
So does anybody here use chamois cream on their gloves as well as their shorts to keep the chamois soft? I think that Nalini use a synthetic chamois material rather than natural chamois leather. Would this make any difference? Is there a general rule that says you should or shouldn't use chamois cream on synthetic as opposed to natural chamois?
