So I unscrewed (completely took them out) the tension screws from my v brake and now they won't go back in. How can I fix this? Thanks for any help. I didn't realize their purpose but now it seems I'm in a bind🙁

I think that you will probably find that if you remove the brake arm from the frame-or-fork that it will be much easier to re-insert the screw into the brake arm assembly.

Thanks for the tip. Turns out there was a nut that was on the other end that fell out and was lost on both screws. Thus, I could try and make them thread forever and never get it to catch. Ended up needing the missing small square nut to finish the job.
