Gday
ahh you did much better than me
my time was 8hr13 or something
I had no flats, but managed to separate some links in my chain at
about the 50-60km mark which meant it would skip in the bigger gears
ended up riding the last 40kms in the middle ring and the 20t rear
i too experienced the cramps
hammies, quads all at the same time,
kinda makes it difficult to decide which one to stretch first
i think by next time i'll try organise a dually. the 1st 40kms or so
was good on the hardtail but by the end of it, it was pretty tiring
having to stand up over the bumpy sections
i still cant believe the winning time was 4hr 20 or something given
some of the sections and the climbs
thanks for the tip on abbotsford, they tell me they'll be in today so
i'll try organise the rims.
will post some pics of the fixed once its all built up. it's an older
colnago master frame/fork, it'll have deep v's and kazane track hubs/
cranks.
i'd like to get my hands on some gold campag cranks but i rekon the
wifey would boot me out if i spent the cash on those
