Lawson Craddock (Giant-Alpecin) will round out the six-rider squad for the elite men’s road race. He will also race the individual time trial along with BMC’s Taylor Phinney.</p>
<p>Craddock, 23, is currently racing the Vuelta a España, aiming to help his teammate Tom Dumoulin win the overall. So far this season, the Austin, Texas resident’s best result was third place in stage 6 of the Tour of Poland in August.</p>
