With less than a month left until the start of the Tour de France, Tinkoff-Saxo and its clothing partner Sportful have unveiled a new kit that will certainly stand out in the peloton this July.
Pleased with the popularity of the camouflage-adorned kit that the team presented last December and wore during offseason training, Tinkoff-Saxo decided to incorporate some similarities into a new look for the 2015 Tour.
While the kit retains the traditional yellow and blue colors of the team, grey, in the form of camo patterns, and black take a more prominent place on the jersey, bib shorts, and socks. “I really like the Tour de France kit,” said team leader Alberto Contador, who just won the Giro d’Italia and will make the Tour start in pursuit of the elusive Giro-Tour double. “It’s a nice combination of this season’s racing kit and the one we started using in our training camp in Gran Canaria last December. I like its colors and, hopefully, so will our fans.”
