Does verapamil control heart rate? If so how long? I have
been taking atenolol but having to take it 3 times a day
because I can not tolerate a high dose. The atenolol works
for my fast heartbeat due to MVP. How long would you need to
be off atenolol before starting verapamil as I have read
there can be and interaction. I am on armour thyroid
replacement also for hypothyroid. If 25 to 50 of atenolol
did not effect my thyroid would a calcium chanel blocker
like verapamil probaly not mess with my tsh or Free T3 or T4
either? I take my atenolol 2 hours after my thyroid dose at
the closest so I gues I would have to do the same with the
verapamil?
