I have a verruca (apologies for bad spelling) on the sole
of my foot.
I have seen my doctor about it and he says it is nothing to
worry about and that no treatment or covering up is
necessary.
I have been using an over-the-counter treatment which seems
to have cleared it away pretty well - it is still there but
is getting better all the time. I can't remember what it is
called, but you apply it to the area and leave for 24 hours,
then pick it off and re-apply it.
With the knowledge that warts in general can be spread to
other parts of the body, is this the case with plantar warts
(verrucas)?
I was just a little concerned that the stuff I pick off may
contain live virus that could cause another incident
elsewhere on my body.
Does anyone know what the situation is with these?
