Vertical bike storage - hung from stair balustrade / handrail

Hello

I was wondering if anyone knew if a product is on the market that
allows you to hang your MTB off a rack that attaches to the outside of
a stair balustrade, so that the bike hangs over the stairwell void on
the outside of the handrail? Ideally in a vertical position. I've
done a bit of research and wasn't able to find anything, but I thought
I'd check with you guys before I go off and start fashioning something
myself!

cheers

Well, a U-lock would probably do the trick fairly well. I've done that
myself when there was no room for bike parking anywhere else.

The reason that every major university maintains a department of
mathematics is that it's cheaper than institutionalizing all those people.

Even if there is, save your money. Get a large "S" hook, and some vinyl
dip (like for tools) and don't forget a good lock and cable, especially
if their is any chance of it being accessible or even visible from the
street or other public place.
