Elden Nelson, aka The Fatcyclist (www.fatcyclist.com) did a fund raiser last year in conjunction with Specialized Bikes to provide bikes for this organization. As a result, over 1100 bikes were sent to the organization last fall. A bicycle in this continent is a real life changing thing.

I was so moved by the story that my wife and I donated enough to buy two bikes. If you've got any money at all to spare, this is a great place to send it!
