RACV are having their redspot survey again,
http://www.racv.com.au/wps/wcm/conn...y/roads+&+traffic/congestion/red+spot+survey/

Although the survey is predominately aimed at RACV membership, there's plenty of *opportunity* for your remarks. (varying btw 80 - 100 or 500 characters). Even though I've never driven, some of my least favourite cycling troublespots are just as disconcerting even when a passenger.

Slightly OT, Tips for slowing down traffic at problematic intersections. Stand on footpath in cycling gear and take happy snaps. I've done this several times over the years when documenting cycling issues or making submissions to local council, authorities etc. Unfortunately I can't envisage this tactic being a serious contender for traffic management, although it worked a treat (briefly) this morning while down at the St Georges roundabout ...:D

We could just start randomly placing life size cardboard cutouts of someone in lycra brandishing a camera at trouble spots. Strategic scareprats.

Re the OT, I have often thought of doing that at St Kilda Junction, just
entering St Kilda Road Southbound, as car after car cuts across the bike
track at up to 80kph. I take extra great care when entering that area.

Henry.
