L'equipe, in an interview with Alexander Vinokourov, claim Vinokourov will become DS of the Astana team 'in two years'. The team will become Kazakh, and Vinokourov hopes the shares of Manolo Saiz will be bought out, and that it's necessary that Manolo 'stops cycling definitively, that he isn't seen anymore. He could be happy working in a small cycle shop".

Meanwhile current Astana rider Alberto Contador has written an open letter, claiming that 'he believes in a clean sport and has practised it'.

I agree with Vino : Saiz is finished.
He will go the way of Bruno Roussel (Festina) : Saiz will be treated as a pyrriah.

As for Contador - the question he needs to address is how come he has managed to get caught up in all of this, if he is clean?

ITs nice to see Vino to looking forward to making a future for his fellow countrymen in the sport, especially considering he is still coming off in the last 2 days the biggest disappointment in his career, being not allowed to start the TDF in which he was one of the main favorites.
