Hi everybody, quick question.... 1930's bike that currantly has 28 x 1 1/2" tires (and needs new
ones) and I've found some 28 x 1 3/8 x 1 5/8" tires (made in Poland, vintage).Are they the same?
Will they seat properly on the rims? Any help is greatly appreciated. Either post to the newsgroup
or to [email protected] Thanks in advance!

No, but the right size shouldn't be that hard to find

There are both 2015 circumference tires (ISO -642) and 2016mm tires. There's also another 28" size,
once used by CCM/Canada that would not fit a -642 rim at all but I don't recall the actual size of
those. So , maybe and maybe not.
