There is a poster who goes by the handle "flulprag". He has put up a post that contains a number of links. I have scanned these links and they are all bogus and contain a trojan horse type virus called Spyware Bot. Do not confuse this with the legitimate SpyBot Search & Destroy. Spyware Bot takes control of your computer as the administrator and locks you out of your "My Computer" and "System Tools" so that you cannot get rid of it. It also disables any anti-virus software that you have on your computer. It then allows you to use the internet at a very low speed and pops up every couple of minutes telling you that you have many thousands of viruses and spyware on your computer. It directs you to purchase their Spyware Bot Anti-virus protection for approximately US$45.00, payable by credit card only to a company in Lithuania. If you do pay the US$45.00, you do not get any software from them. The only way to get rid of it is to reformat your hard drive. What ever you do, DO NOT CLICK ON ANY OF THE LINKS IN A POST BY "flulprag".
