No doubt some ****** will want to say this is a troll but the Kona
Stinky 2001 moutain bike listing in ebay contains a virus or a trojon

Item number is 220044200130

I tried to advise Ebay days ago but the item is still there

....do you have more detail to backup what you are claiming? You wouldn't want some trigger-happy-false-positive-causing client software getting in the way of a good story?

(I'm genuinely interested in the techniques used if they are using eBay as a seeding point)

1/ As much as possible to undoubtedly prove that eBay is being used as a seeding point for malware/virus junk.

Virus/Trojan name, URL/HTML code on the page referencing the nasty, a direct link to the nasty (if possible), etc.. all the standard stuff I'm sure eBay would have also wanted to know when you reported this to them.

2/ I did look at the item. I ran all resources on this page through a few quick checks which came up clean. There was no indication of any off site linking either, which is why this sparked my interest.

3/ This kind of thing is very closely related to what I do for a living, so don't mistake this as me just wanting to prove you wrong.
