Hello this is my first post. About two years a go I had obtained a old Viscount bicycle with a 1977 bicycle License for iowa and had worked on it for a week so i can ride it with out any problems so after 2 years i have replaced the bottom bearing, tires/tubes, new brake and gear cables and have ridden over 2,000 miles. so to my question do i have a "death fork" ill try to add pictures of my bicycle possibly tomorrow. and if there is any other thing i should replace on my bicycle im up for sugestions.

heres my fork of my viscount see what you think

It looks like you have a later model with an O.E.M. steel fork. If a magnet sticks to it, it's not the infamous 'death fork'.

Yes the magnet does stick to it but not on my dad's has a "death fork" lucky me! thanks for the help.
