  1. My first post, so a big hello to everyone on the forum ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm trying to identify the model of a Vitus frame I bought recently to rebuild over winter. I already have a Vitus 979 and although the frame I've bought is Aluminium, and bonded to alloy lugs, there are several different details to my 979 and to any images of 992's that I've found.

Its called a Vitus Seven Dural Racing frame, maybe that was a model in its own right, but I can find nothing on the net about it as a model.

It has the grub screw seat post which I'm pretty sure is 25mm, although it may be 25.4mm. The front forks are very straight, unlike the 979 which have the curve towards the ends. Unfortunately, that pic is a bit cropped off but you can see the far fork. Where the downtube fits into the headset lug, this area of lug is much longer than the 979. It has a campagnolo bb fitted which I guessing is original.

So, if anyone can shed any light on what model they think it might be it would be a great help ๐Ÿ™‚
