Please vote for a "pro-biking/anti-car culture"
video semifinalist
in an acclaimed student filmmaking competition. Five finalists from
hundreds
of socially relevant entries will be presented at the United Nations in
mid-June. This entry, "One Less Car, One More Bike" allows two
passionate
bike riders to reflect on the benefits of riding bicycles in a
post-industrial cityscape marred with traffic jams, car exhaust, and air
pollution. Filmed in Pittsburgh, PA, this entry could take place in any
city
where motorists breed the oil dependency that leads to oil wars and
disregard for the environment.

Tips:
1. Don't: cycle in THE RUSSIAN ROULETTE CAR DOOR LANE, help oil
wars/climate
change/peak oil chaos, destroy environment, cause danger/road kill,
cancer/asthma from toxic exhaust/tyre wear, dam, dump, CAR!
2. Assume ALL CAR DOORS WILL OPEN (unseen kid). Ride where cars will
give
you room and pass you safely. At times this is where a car's left tyre
would normally be. Cars will squeeze pass you if you give them the
chance.
Ride in a straight line (don't weave in/out around parked cars). You can
