Maybe,but as the Vuelta is about 60% Spanish/Portugese teams,that would leave the Dutch,Belgian and
non participating teams to race elsewhere. Have a Google search under "Vuelta D'Espana dates".
Though this reason(date clash)and the World Cup Series caused the date change IIRC.
