REGION GEARS UP FOR WACHOVIA CYCLING SERIES

Wachovia USPRO Championship celebrates 20th Anniversary with week of
events



Norristown, PA (May 28, 2004) - Watch the best cyclists in the world
tackle 336 miles of twists, turns, and speeding straight-aways through
Lancaster, Trenton, and Philadelphia. This is the Wachovia Cycling
Series – the most prestigious cycling event in America for 20 straight
years. It's a week full of excitement, interactive experiences and
serious competition, where you can enjoy three men's races, one
women's race, the crowning of the US Professional Road Champion, and a
variety of fun events.

Amateur cyclists test their fortitude against the infamous Manayunk
Wall, with its steep 17 percent grade, in a race against the clock

Founder's Ride and GlaxoSmithKline Legend's Lunch
One hundred former international cycling legends and patrons of the
sport will pedal 65 miles, with police escort, from the Lehigh Valley
Velodrome in Trexlertown to Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Celebrating two decades of pro cycling in Pennsylvania and raising
money for the Allentown-based Nicole Reinhart Memorial Fund.

Ride the actual championship racecourse to benefit the American
