Newsgroups: uk.rec.walking Date: 2003-12-06 07:10:17 PSTHi there
I'm trying to collect together a directory of sites which
hold detailed walk directions, descriptions, routes etc and
wondered if you guys have any links you could forward to me
for inclusion in the list.It was always something I wished existed when I was looking
for ideas on where to go walking as I used to have to spend
hours searching the web for walk descriptions that I could
take along with me. So, hopefully gathering them in one
place will make such info easy for anyone to find.I've had a lot of positive feedback about the site so far,
so hopefully I'm not offending anyone by asking for such
information here, and that you can all see the purpose of
the site. I have a friend working on a similar site for
Germany and am hoping to convince a few other people to do
the same in a few other countries. Any, enough of this
babble; take a look and let me know what you think. It is
www.Walking-Routes.co.uk & I can be contacted at info@Walking-
Routes.co.uk.

Thanks - I've seen that.
I've been contacted by someone from ITV (TV Co). who wants
to talk to the owner of the site.
They got no response from that email address.
Hence the query. Maybe Malcolm will read this!
