There are checkpoints (going on bridges) where you must have your vest

I have been on this ride many times.
There are places that they funnel you down to a nearly single file
lane...I seem to recall this happening when you get off FDR Drive.
Another before getting on the BQE. Anyone not wearing the vest they
pull from the ride. Not sure what happens to people that they pull
out..but they will pull you out.

Then you ride around the obstruction and continue. They dont stop
walkers and they are public streets
