Hi all,
Haven't been on the NG for ages, but am posting a request to help me
get back on the road after a minor mishap at the weekend that led to
the rear mech on my road bike being damaged. If anyone has a spare
upper pivot bolt (the big allen bolt which holds the mech to the rear
dropout) for a Mavic 840 or 841 derailleur that they'd be willing to
part with for a reasonable price, then drop me a line - mine ripped
itself out of the frame damaging its threads, though the frame and the
rest of the mech are unscathed! Would also consider a complete mech in
decent nick to cannibalise for bits, or failing that (because the
silver/black finish makes it a good 'lookalike'!), a 2003 model Campag
Mirage short-cage rear mech, either VGC or unused. Will also cover UK
P&P costs as appropriate, or can collect in person in Leeds area. All
feedback very welcome, and I look forward to your replies (preferably
by e-mail not via the NG).
