Hi All

Just a quick warning to anyone who is considering buying a bike from one of the many Indonesian online retailers.
I was recently caught out by a company who had a perfectly legitimate looking web site with pictures of the shop etc.
Their prices were as it turned out too good to be true. I knew there was a risk but somewhat recklessly went for it anyway.
As soon as they had my money they stopped answering my emails and do not answer the phone number supplied.

The company in question is www.focus-cycles.com contact Surya Saputra.

This company appears on several other web sites and looks valid but I am now convinced it is a SCAM.. Needless to say I have not received my bike. I have also had a PI over in Bali looking in to this for me but he could not find any of their 'shops' at the addresses given.

I have tracked the whois data for their web site and found other web sites that seem to be owned by the same person

www.idmasterbikes.com
www.idbikestore.com
www.fave-bike.com

This appears to be a huge scam with many websites involved. These sites are either identical or very similar.

Anyway if my bike does turn up I shall be proved wrong but I doubt it.

Hope no one else gets caught out!!

Cheers

Simon
