Watching the Tour on the web

Anyone recommend any site that will be streaming the tour live ?

I don't know any websites with streaming video, but I followed the 2004 Tour live at these two sites. Both of them had real-time race updates, although they were both a big inconsistent.

Also, here in the states the "Outdoor Life Network" carries the tour live on tv. Is that available in Edinburgh?

I don't know about video, but cyclingnews.com and velonews.com have live text updates, and eurosport.com has free streaming audio as well as text.

Amazed nobody has picked up on this niche.

Hmmm I wonder about the legalities of me rebroadcasting the tour via my work web servers using some form of streaming as we have eurosport there.

Better get used to the handcuffs now. I don't know about Scotland, but over here, re-braodcasting something without getting permission and paying royalties is far from legal. I remember hearing about a web site that was streaming video of the spring classics, but I don't remember what it was. It wasn't free though.

I think OLN has the rights to broadcasting it, so most likely cycling.tv will not be able to.

OLNtv.com was streaming the Giro stage for stage, so more than likely the offer with be on the table for the Tour. It was like $6 as you can see...
