I'm not sure if the law on motorcycles also covers the bicycles. But I find the law on safety with good and real intentions. First is the helmet, violation would result to a ticket. Second is the shoes, wearing slippers is a violation because the shoes serve as protection for the feet in case of accidents. There's also the pants, shorts are not allowed since pants also provide a shield to the legs and thighs during a crash. And maybe the vest is another salient wearable for safety and protection.
