Peaks Coaching Group - Hunter Allen Bicycle Power Training

Quadrant analysis is a graphical tool for analyzing data obtained using a bicycle-mounted power meter.

Co-Authors Dr. Andrew R. Coggan and Hunter Allen of "Training and Racing with a Power Meter", will teach you how to use this tool in order to help you improve in your 2010 cycling season. Not just for racers, this webinar will help Mt. Bikers, track riders and maybe even fixie hipsters!

Dr. Andrew R. Coggan will discuss the theory behind this approach and how it relates to the muscle force-velocity relationship, muscle fiber type and recruitment, self-selection of cadence, etc.

Hunter Allen will describe practical use of this tool to analyze data from various types of races and training sessions and how this information can be used to optimize an individual’s training program to best meet the demands of their event.

We will use both the information from the new Quadrant Analysis Feature in TrainingPeaks WKO+ 3.0 and also from Dr. Coggan's extensive library of power files. If you would like to learn how to understand and utilize quadrant analysis to the fullest in 2010, this is a webinar you'll want to attend!
