Indeed. Life's too short, and I have actually invested energy in
trying to sort out the problem you're causing to this newsgroup. I
don't have that much to spare.

You mean that your smear tactics, and innuedos proved largely
    ineffective?

Yes well, you can hardly blame me for your own obvious ineptitude,
in that department, now can you, eh ?

Sending a boy on a man's errand is never a good idea at the best of
    times.

Never mind someone such as yourself, with your money worries, and
the ever present possibility of running out of toilet paper hanging
    over your head.

Hardly the most propitious of circumstances I'd have thought, under
which to be embarking on such a monumental enterprise.

I can't find "university" and actually it should have been
    "baseless innuendos" in any case.

It would be prohibitively expensive for me to post other than from an
academic address at work. Presumably you think I should use my mobile
as a GPRS 'modem' and do it that way.

    No. I don't have any organisation 🙂

Wouldn't stop him lying about headers - he's done it before.

(The switch from "Addresses" to claiming he was talking about Organisation

  8. Greetings,
I in fact have two doubles, and have met one and seen
the other. The one I met is Irish (I'm originally English) and worked at
an office I worked at years ago. The second double is in fact related,
and appears briefly in the closing credits of the movie, `Attack of the
Killer Tomatoes' (1978), which was made by the San Diego branch of my
    family. Have fun spotting him.
    Regards,
    Ray.

    Graeme said:

It is said that everyone alive has a double, as in look-alike (not "make
mine a double"😉 and it seems there is a Usenet equivalent, the "write-
alike". As a fairly regular reader and sometimes poster to both aus.bicycle
and uk.rec.cycling there are threads on each group contributed to (or
rather, taken over) by "DRS" and "Dr Curious" respectively.

The styles of writing, at least in levels of confrontation, share a
remarkable similarity. The word "f***wit" also crops up quite regularly in
    these threads too.

It's fascinating, and a little confusing at times, to follow these threads.
So are you two guys related in any way?

    :-)

I've not met any doubles of me. There is though a name-sake in New Zealand,
Lots of people have name-sakes, but with the way I spell mine I would have
thought it highly unlikely. I was Googling for my name one day (ego-surfing
I believe it's called) and got a hit for a Graeme Dods in a printing
company in New Zealand. Most "Dods" are spelled "Dodds" (for reasons I'll

Perhaps if you have any problem with the stated views, you'd do
rather better raising the matter with the person responsible.

Rather than wrongly imputing them to me for the purposes of
    making a pointed aside.

Childish insults are one thing; forged attributions are
