Western Suburbs MTB(Melb) Groups/Clubs?

Does any know if there is any MTB clubs or groups who ride regularly in the western burbs of Melb. Im getting back into riding and would love to ride with others with the dirt addiction. Ill ride any where though, city-trails-dirt tracks!
Any advice would be appriciated.

Every Thursday night 6:30pm , Westgate park (just opposite the go kart circuit), there is a MTB criterium race. I think it's $10 to race, all welcome. 15min loop (x3 or 4)

I have not entered an event there yet but I've poked about the circuit which looks like good practice.
