Yeah we have to do it ourselves. We don't have enough dingos, mate.
no, you have people who walk into high schools and postal centres with rifles...

Do we want it? Or would it be out of irritation?

Actually, there are many nations in Europe that I have hope for. Among
them, Italy and most of the old Warsaw Pact nations. Most of Western Europe
will continue to try to disavow its relevence.

How about these facts:

Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Medal Tally

1st Australia 207 medals (79 gold)
2nd USA 206 medals (75 gold)
3rd UK 159 medals (52 gold)

Does that confirm Australia as having the World's best sportsmen
(abled and disabled)?
well, yes i think it does!!

The way in which your leader marches your young men off to be killed
to make himself and his friends richer is pathetically funny in a
sick sort of way.

of course, that makes sense, everything that happened before you can remember doesnt matter. Ever heard of the saying "if you dont know your past you cant know your future"?. Do you wander around in circles at home wondering what to do next?

Pathetic really.
Whats pathetic is that you didnt read my location dipsh*t!

Again you show your ignorance. Or is it stupidity? After all,
ignorance can be fixed, stupid is forever. I hope you're just
ignorant.

Thanks, I do know a pro cyclist who raced in Europe professionally for
several years and raced as a pro mountain biker for a few more years.
Really nice, guy, humble and knowledgeable. Not to mention one of the
youngest-ever finishers of Paris-Roubaix. I know a few more people
who raced as amateurs in Europe, too. And I raced as a mediocre
amateur for 10 years myself. I've been following the sport since
1973, which is much easier now in the ero of Internet than it was back
in the 70s when race reports finally got to the US about 3 months
late.

I'd have no complaint about that, actually. If I had a daughter.

Let me guess, Magnificant ******* = Paul Rubens. At least MB seems
to like to copy PeeWee Herman's rhetorical style and seems to think
it's funny. Rather sad, actually.

I don't believe you either.

The same can be said of most nation's national sports:

Rugby and Cricket played in commonwealth countries aren't Olympic
sports.

Boule, played in France, is not an Olympic sport.

Sumo wrestling, played in Japan, is not an Olympic sport.

Kabadi, played in India, is not an Olympic sport.

Don't feel that the US is being victimised just because American
football and baseball aren't Olympic sports. Football is an olympic
sport because it is played globally - yet you won't see any
professional players from Europe taking part in the competition.

It's happening already - there isn't a major European city without at
least one McDonalds, and there's barely a computer without Microsoft
products (albeit pirated in most cases).

Mind you, Hamburgers are a European invention, and the Internet
invented by a Brit.

This comment is particularly telling.

The US expects other countries to adhere to the rules of the UN, but
somehow considers itself exempt.

Why should senior Yugoslavian soldiers be accountable to the
International Criminal Court, but not senior US soldiers?
