You're asking a question that has no answer. It's always gonna be the motor not the bike that makes the difference. Too many variables to consider to come up with a difinitive answer.

Preferences fall into the realm of opinion and as such have no objectivity whatsoever. There is no single best racing bike. I'm sure that Armstrong, Basso and Ulrich could have switched bikes before the Tour and the results would have been the same, provided they fit the rider, of course.
 
I have no idea about racing bikes, but I do know the subject line of this thread sucks... I keep opening it, forgetting that I have read it.
