Post is kind of the title but to expand a little, and obviously, this is pure speculation - What if the ultimate truth behind the UAP's / UFO's / Non-Human Intelligence question is simply too horrifying for the public to gain any benefit from knowing it? EG, yes, Aliens exist, and our governments have been in contact for decades/centuries, but the actual reality is we are just a "what happens if" experiment. Like planet earth is just a farm for biomass and every 10k years they come and cart us all off to the grinder, or that we're just an experiment into what happens if apes are given higher intelligence, or that we're a cosmic zoo/safari park and all our collective achievements as a species are to them what is an ape using a stick to scratch its butt is to us? I'm just thinking that with the overwhelming amounts of evidence of UAP's and etc that we are seeing more and more of, if this report comes out and they *don't* seriously entertain the possibility of Aliens, then there has to be a reason for that, and maybe the fact that we'd all be wishing we took the blue pill were we to learn the truth could be one. So I guess the question becomes, is there a set of circumstances where the guys keeping a lid on all the information are in fact the good guys, giving us a bit of 'ignorance is bliss' so that there's actually a point to getting out of bed in the morning and trying to do something with our limited existences. Just a shower thought but could be interesting to discuss/explore. Keep it, friendly folks!
