What (in your opinion) is the best bike in the world?

    I totally agree with you. Until a person actually rides a bike then all he/she has to go by is someone else's opinion of it. So for me it will be (road) my '87 Trek 400 Elance and (mountain) my '09 Giant Yukon hardtail. I also have a distinct liking for my dad's '85 Trek 620 and '74 Motobecan Grand Record, which he bought in '75, the same year I was born.
    But I'm such a geek that on a day that I ride my Giant I will pat the Trek on the saddle and say, "don't worry, you're next old girl!" :cool:

    My partner's gone away for the night so I've got my bike out of the shed and stuck it in the living room.
    It's a Colnago Master Olympic, 1994, Corsa Record throughout, and to me this is the best bike in the world. ;)

    That'd be a good bike, alright, but it doesn't exist unless you post pictures of it.
