I am looking for a new hardtail frame for when funds allow.
I have been considering:
Specialised S-works
Kona Kula Primo
Klein Attitude

What are peoples thoughts?

or should I save up and buy a full susser? (I have never ridden full sus)

See if you can get a full-suss demo bike from your LBS, then decide if like it. For me, full-suss all the way, its not even a question!

get the specialized...its known to be reliable and they have great craftsman ship...plus theres tons of great things on there bikes

Ride em all. Bikes in the same price range are often times similarlly speced. Some give and take in different areas, but most represent the same value.

I personally love FS. Once you ride it, ya dont go back. That's bad for the wallet , tho ;)

Visit the LBSs ride all those bikes, figure out which shop and bike combo ya like more, and go for it.

Wiggle.co.uk are currently selling Giant NRS full suss frames at £450. Very tempted to get one but I am skint. Finding it hard to resist but I have to! :(

must...not...waste...money...on...bike..............

I am not really a Trek fan to be honest. Most of their stuff seems overpriced and under specced compared to what other companies have to offer. Also everybpdy has Trek's and I would like something a little bit rarer. Still very tempted by that NRS frame though!
