What is the best place to buy a bike?

I am looking to get an 04 Hardrock, RockHopper or a Trek 4300...

Where do you folks shop for the lowest price?
My LBS is not to bad but after taxs etc. it gets spendy ;(

I figure I could save some cash on-line?
I am in the states.

Hey partner,why don't you come to Canada ?,here specialy in Alberta we only got one tax (7%,the only province in Canada with just one tax !!!!) and the fact that your dollar has a better value you'll come ahead.So plan a trip up here ,have fun ,buy a bike and save a bundle too.Where do you live ?,Arizona ?

Thats not a bad plan, I was in canada last year.
I guess I should have bought a bike then.
My LBS has agreed to match other priceing
so I will buy a lower end bike from him this time
(Hardrock sport) since I won't be back to Canada
for a year or so. ;(

My wife misses home (Alberta)

About the price match do one pricing then convert it to canuck bucks and then ask him to price match it,you may come ahead.

I did fair at the LBS...
I paid $299.00 US for an 04 Hardrock Sport (15").
I also got him to sell me the Enduro Comp helmet for $29

I am happy with the bike and ok with the price...
