What is the difference between the Crankbrothers Egg Beater pedals?

Well, by process of elimination the other cleat probably goes on the opposite shoe. Eggbeater pedals are asymetrical, so if you put the cleat with the dots on the right shoe they release at a 15 degree angle. If it's on the left they release at a 20 degree angle.
Both of them release at 15 degrees if it's on the right shoe and 20 degrees if it's on the left shoe? You would think that two of the same cleat would be needed in order for both to function in the same manner (Two dotted and two that aren't.). Anyone from Austin, Texas know where they have a good selection of cycling shoes?

Think about it for a minute. When you rotate your heel out to unclip it's the inner most side of the cleat that's opening the binding. The outer side doesn't touch anything. Switch the cleats and the inner sides become the outer sides. That's how you get two release angles from one set of cleats.

Performance Bike has the Cromoly / blue spindal on sale right now for $55 + shipping/etc.

That's about as much as I paid for mine on Ebay. However it didn't have the blue spindal :)

Today I'm going in search of some shoes. Wish me luck. One thing on my mine, comfort.
